In response to the escalating conflict in the Middle East, Canadian aid organizations have mobilized to provide essential support to over 23,000 individuals in Lebanon and Syria. The Humanitarian Coalition, comprising 12 prominent Canadian aid groups, launched a national fundraising campaign from March 16 to April 1, 2026, to facilitate the delivery of life-saving assistance. Contributions have enabled the provision of food, clean water, emergency health services, temporary shelter, and psychosocial support to families affected by the crisis. The coalition emphasizes the importance of collaboration and continues to advocate for the protection of humanitarian rights and the need for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing violence in the region.
