The Senate Committee on Public Accounts (PAC) has summoned Mele Kyari, the former Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), along with other current and former officials of the company, to provide explanations regarding an alleged N210 trillion in unremitted funds. This directive follows findings from recent audit reports that highlighted significant discrepancies in financial remittances. The officials are expected to appear before the committee within the next two weeks to address these concerns and clarify the circumstances surrounding the unremitted funds.
