Kidnappers Invade Army Estate In Abuja , One Killed ( Pictures, Video )

In the early hours of Thursday, April 30, 2026, a group of approximately seven suspected Fulani gunmen launched an attack on a resident of the Army Post Service Housing Estate in Kurudu, Abuja. Their intention was to kidnap a prominent business tycoon residing in the estate. However, the situation escalated when soldiers stationed in the area responded to distress calls from neighbors, leading to a confrontation. During the ensuing gun battle, one of the assailants was killed, while another sustained gunshot wounds and managed to escape; the remaining members of the gang fled the scene. Authorities have initiated an investigation to locate and apprehend the suspects involved in the incident.
