The Federal Character Commission (FCC) has officially launched a new digital platform aimed at combating recruitment fraud and enhancing transparency within Nigeria's public service sector. The inauguration took place on April 28, 2026, at the Presidential Villa Banquet Hall in Abuja, with Senator George Akume representing President Bola Tinubu. The platform, developed under the leadership of Executive Chairman Hon. Hulayat Mutunayo Omidiran, is designed to facilitate job searching by allowing users to identify states with active recruitments, access verified accommodation information, and connect with legitimate recruiting agencies. This initiative is anticipated to bolster accountability among Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and promote adherence to federal character principles, as highlighted by FCC spokesperson Ademola Lawrence and supported by Vice President Kashim Shettima during the launch event attended by various government officials.
