The Diocese on the Niger of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, has announced the suspension of Ifunanya Maduka, a well-known priest, for a period of six months without pay. This decision follows allegations that Maduka engaged in the practice of staging prophecies and misrepresenting them as divine revelations. Maduka previously served as the Vicar of St. Paul’s Anglican Church located in Nteje, Anambra State. The suspension reflects the diocese's commitment to uphold the integrity of its teachings and practices.
