In observance of World Malaria Day 2026, the Lift Above Poverty Organisation (LAPO) has partnered with the Edo State Primary Health Care Development Agency and Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area to enhance malaria prevention efforts. The initiative included a free medical outreach that provided essential drugs to the community, alongside public sensitisation campaigns aimed at educating women about malaria prevention strategies. The event took place at the Evbuomodu community, where attendees received valuable information on combating the disease and improving overall health outcomes.
