In Boyekai town, located in the Goronyo Local Government Area of Sokoto State, two children lost their lives due to a soil collapse during an excavation incident. The tragedy occurred on Wednesday morning when a group of children, all reportedly from the same family, were digging for laterite to assist with home repairs in preparation for the upcoming rainy season. Emergency services were alerted, but the unfortunate event has left the community in mourning as they grapple with the loss of the young lives.
