The Federal Government of Nigeria has allocated N548.98 billion for the reconstruction of the Carter Bridge in Lagos. This announcement was made by the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held on Thursday in Abuja. Umahi confirmed that the decision to demolish and reconstruct the bridge was made to enhance its structural integrity and improve traffic flow in the area. The project aims to address the ongoing challenges associated with the bridge's current condition.
