Governor Alex Chioma Otti of Abia State has announced that the Labour Party (LP) will not participate in the opposition coalition being formed in preparation for the 2027 presidential election. This statement was made following the inaugural meeting of the newly elected National Working Committee of the party. Otti also clarified that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not involved in the challenges currently facing the Labour Party.
