The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has declared an end to the culture of recklessness and impunity within the Nigerian Police Force. This statement was made during the passing-out ceremony of 1,068 retrained constables at Police Mobile Force Base 26 in Uyo on Thursday. Mr. Disu emphasized the importance of skill and training, stating that an unskilled officer armed with a weapon poses a significant danger to society. He underscored the need for professionalism and accountability among police officers moving forward.
