Civil Society Coalition Urges INEC to Relax Election Timetable

Members of the Nigeria Civil Society Coalition have expressed concerns regarding the current election timetable set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). They have urged INEC to consider relaxing the timetable to facilitate a more inclusive electoral process. Additionally, the Situation Room has launched a new poll tracking application aimed at enhancing transparency in the electoral process. The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has also emphasized the need for a competitive electoral environment in the upcoming 2027 elections, advocating against a mere coronation of candidates.
