US court convicts Nigerians, others of $215m internet fraud

A United States court in the Northern District of Ohio has convicted two Nigerian men and one woman for their roles in an extensive international email hacking operation. This scheme reportedly defrauded over 1,000 victims, resulting in losses estimated at around $215 million. The fraudulent activities were conducted across 47 states and involved 19 countries. The convictions followed a thorough investigation that culminated in the indictment of the defendants.
