Amnesty International has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to conduct an urgent and independent investigation into the deaths of at least 150 individuals from the Fulani community, including children, at a military detention facility in Kwara State. The organization reported that these fatalities occurred among approximately 1,500 displaced pastoralists who were being held at the National Youth Service Corps camp. The demand for an investigation highlights concerns regarding the treatment and conditions faced by those detained in military custody.
