A firm in Akwa Ibom State has formally approached the Human Rights Community, alleging that the State Police Command has encroached upon its land and violated its fundamental rights. During a press briefing held in Uyo on Friday, Clifford Thomas, Esq., a human rights lawyer and Chairman of the Akwa Ibom Human Rights Community, outlined the details of the petition. He indicated that the organization has finalized plans to address the issue through legal channels, emphasizing the need for accountability and protection of citizens' rights in the face of such allegations.
