Ayo Arise, the former Senate Committee Chairman on Privatisation, has officially acquired the nomination and expression of interest forms for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the party's primary election scheduled for May 22, 2026. Following the purchase of the forms in Abuja, he expressed optimism about his chances in the upcoming elections, highlighting his previous tenure as a Senator from 2007 to 2011, during which he initiated various developmental projects in Ekiti North Senatorial District. Arise has been actively engaging with APC leaders and supporters across all 56 wards in the district and has mobilized approximately 7,000 canvassers to support his campaign. He emphasized his commitment to selfless service aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the people and called for unity among party members to ensure success in the forthcoming elections.
