The Plateau State Police Command has issued a stern warning against any interference in ongoing rape and defilement cases. Commissioner of Police, CP Bassey Ewah, emphasized that individuals who attempt to intervene on behalf of suspects will face arrest, regardless of their status or official position. During a press briefing in Jos, he clarified that such crimes are serious felonies and should not be treated as private family matters. The police are committed to ensuring that justice is served in these cases.
