The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has formally requested an extension from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to allow for additional time to conduct its primary elections. This announcement was made by the party's National Organising Secretary, Barrister Chinedu Idigo, during an interview with LEADERSHIP on Friday. In conjunction with this request, the ADC also indicated that it plans to release its primaries timetable within the week, outlining the schedule for its electoral processes.
