The Taraba State Government has officially refuted claims regarding the dismissal of civil servants after a recent staff verification exercise. During the 2026 Workers’ Day celebration held in Jalingo, the Head of Civil Service, Hamidu Ahmed Kara, clarified that no employees had been terminated under the leadership of Governor Agbu Kefas. He emphasized that the verification process was conducted to enhance efficiency within the civil service rather than to reduce the workforce.
