Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has expressed skepticism regarding the political influence of Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and ex-presidential candidate, in the upcoming 2027 general elections. During an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, Okpebholo stated that he believes Obi lacks the capacity to secure electoral success in his home state of Anambra. He further indicated that the political dynamics that influenced past elections would not favor Obi in the future.
