More than half of Haitians continue to face food crisis

The World Food Programme (WFP) reported on Friday that over half of the Haitian population is still experiencing a food crisis. The organization, in collaboration with the Haitian government and various partners, is providing support to 2.7 million individuals through emergency food assistance, school meal programs, social protection initiatives, and aid for smallholder farmers. Despite some minor improvements in food security statistics, the WFP emphasized the importance of maintaining focus on the ongoing challenges faced by the population.
