Kwara State Police Command reported the successful execution of a rescue operation at the Apata Aje settlement, where operatives engaged in a gun duel with a suspected bandit, resulting in the bandit's death. In addition to this operation, the police apprehended 16 individuals believed to be connected to criminal activities in the area. Authorities also recovered 98 rounds of ammunition during the operation, further enhancing their efforts to combat banditry and ensure public safety in the region.
