Two Nigerian nationals have been detained by law enforcement in India for their alleged roles in drug trafficking activities. The arrests took place in Maidan Garhi, South Delhi, following a police operation prompted by specific intelligence received on April 27. Officers intercepted the suspects, identified as 26-year-old Chijioke Wisdom and 43-year-old Chiqozie, while they were riding a scooter at approximately 10:30 p.m. During the operation, authorities recovered 102 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of MDMA, and 85 grams of methaqualone, leading to the registration of a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Both individuals were found to be residing in India without valid visas, and investigations are currently underway to identify their supply network and any potential accomplices.
