Benfica manager Jose Mourinho has clarified that he has not had any discussions with Real Madrid regarding a potential return to the club. Mourinho, who previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, is reportedly viewed as a favored candidate by club president Florentino Perez. Following the dismissal of Xabi Alonso, Alvaro Arbeloa was appointed as interim manager, although it is anticipated that a permanent replacement will be sought soon.
