Edo LG Chairman joins assembly race

Frank Ilaboya, a former Chairman of Owan West Local Government Area, has officially entered the race for the Edo State House of Assembly by obtaining the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination and expression of interest forms. Ilaboya, who has held leadership positions in both the Edo Football Association and the Lagos State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, collected the forms in Benin City on Friday. He expressed confidence in the party's internal processes and emphasized his strong grassroots connections as key to his campaign. Ilaboya commended the APC for providing a fair environment for all aspirants, asserting his readiness to compete vigorously in the upcoming primaries.
