The Kwara State Police Command has apprehended six individuals suspected of involvement in kidnapping activities during a coordinated intelligence-led operation in Baruten Local Government Area. The operation also resulted in the recovery of firearms. According to a statement issued by the police spokesperson, SP Adetoun Ejire Adeyemi, the arrests were made in response to a reported case of kidnapping in the region. The police continue to investigate the matter to ensure the safety and security of the community.
