Ekiti, NDPC begin training, certification of youths as Data Protection Officers

The Ekiti State Government, in partnership with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), has initiated a training and certification programme aimed at equipping youths with the necessary skills to serve as Data Protection Officers (DPOs). The training is set to take place from Monday, May 4 to Friday, May 8, 2026, in Ado-Ekiti. This initiative is part of the government's efforts to enhance data protection awareness and compliance within the state. Participants will receive comprehensive training to ensure they are well-prepared for the responsibilities associated with data protection.
