Buba Galadima, the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has called on Nigerians to take measures to protect their votes during the upcoming 2027 elections. At a stakeholders’ meeting held by the Obi-Kwankwaso Movement in Abuja on Saturday, he suggested that citizens should come prepared with "bottles and jerry cans of kerosene" to safeguard their electoral choices. Galadima's remarks highlight the heightened tensions surrounding the electoral process, as he also alluded to the involvement of key opposition figures in the upcoming elections.
