Iranian media reported on Saturday that the government has provided further information regarding its peace proposal, which was communicated to the United States via Pakistani intermediaries last Thursday. According to the semi-official news agencies Fars and Tasnim, Iran's counterproposal consists of 14 points, contrasting with the nine-point proposal initially presented by the US. The reports also indicated that while the US has requested a two-month ceasefire, Iran maintains that the resolution of underlying issues should take precedence in the negotiations.
