Ikeja Electric has announced that numerous residents in Lagos may experience extended power outages as a result of a decreased allocation from the national grid. The company has attributed the power cuts to ongoing challenges in electricity supply. In response to the situation, the Lagos state government is implementing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) aimed at mitigating the electricity shortages and improving the overall power supply in the region.
