The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially announced its timetable for the 2026 primary elections, detailing important dates for the nomination process, screening, and appeals for various elective positions. According to a statement from the party's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the sale of nomination forms will occur from May 5 to May 10, 2026, with submissions due between May 11 and May 13. The party has set the fee for the presidential nomination form at ₦100 million, while also introducing discounts for youths, women, and persons with disabilities to promote broader participation. This announcement comes amid ongoing internal challenges within the ADC, including a recent Supreme Court ruling that reinstated a faction led by former Senate President David Mark, highlighting the party's struggles with leadership and factional disputes as it prepares for the upcoming elections.
