A civil society coalition, known as the Nigeria Democratic Rights Advocacy (NDRA), has called for an investigation by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding potential violations of the revised Electoral Act. The coalition alleges that an individual is simultaneously representing two political parties, the All Progressives Movement (APM) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which is prohibited under the current electoral regulations. In response to these allegations, INEC has acknowledged the concerns raised by the coalition and is expected to address the matter in accordance with its regulatory framework.
