The Nigerian Army has reported the successful neutralization of nine terrorists, including two prominent figures, during operations conducted from May 1 to May 3, 2026, in Katsina and Zamfara states. These operations were part of the ongoing military initiative known as Operation Fansan Yamma. In addition to the elimination of the terrorists, the troops also confiscated four AK-47 rifles and nine motorcycles, which are believed to have been used in terrorist activities.
