Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State officially inaugurated the Yandaki–Shinkafi–Kofar Sauri road, which spans 8.1 kilometers and was constructed at a cost of N12.6 billion. The project was executed by the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umar Radda. During the commissioning ceremony, Governor Aliyu praised the efforts of his Katsina counterpart in enhancing infrastructure development in the region. The new road is expected to improve transportation and connectivity for residents in the area.
