A 60-year-old businessman was abducted by gunmen in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, on Saturday evening. The kidnapping took place at Jinarere, Alakia, while the victim was en route to his residence. Olayinka Ayanlade, the Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are underway to locate the victim and apprehend the suspects involved. Authorities are urging the public to provide any information that may assist in resolving the case.
