The Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, Kashifu Abdullahi, emphasized the necessity for enhanced collaboration among African nations to bolster the continent's capabilities in artificial intelligence infrastructure. He cautioned that without the development of indigenous cloud and computing resources, Africa may continue to rely heavily on foreign technology platforms. Abdullahi made these remarks during an interview at GITEX Africa, highlighting the urgency of establishing a self-sufficient technological ecosystem within the continent.
