Security operatives in Rivers State have successfully apprehended 13 individuals suspected of being involved in cult activities during an initiation ceremony. The arrests took place in a forest located between Alode and Onne in Eleme Local Government Area during the early hours of Sunday. An eyewitness, identified as Lene, reported to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that approximately 100 individuals were present at the scene during the operation. The police have intensified efforts to combat cultism and related violence in the region.
