The Akwa Ibom State police command has apprehended 25 individuals suspected of being involved in cult activities during a raid conducted in the Abak Local Government Area. Among those arrested, 10 were identified as females. Law enforcement officials also recovered a pistol and several cartridges during the operation. The police have intensified efforts to combat cultism and related crimes in the region.
