The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has formalized a partnership with two Chinese firms through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at revitalizing the Warri and Port Harcourt refineries. According to a statement issued by NNPC’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Andy Odey, the agreement encompasses the restart, operation, and expansion of these key facilities. This collaboration is expected to enhance the refining capacity and operational efficiency of the refineries, contributing to Nigeria's energy sector development. The signing of the MoU marks a significant step in the NNPC's efforts to improve domestic fuel production and reduce reliance on imports.
