During the proceedings, the applicant's counsel confirmed that all relevant parties, including the Inspector-General of Police and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, had been served with the necessary documents. The court had previously granted the organization permission to pursue the action and allowed for substituted service on the police commissioner, highlighting the ongoing public concern and calls for accountability surrounding Mohbad's death.
