The Ebonyi State Government has officially lifted the curfew that had been in place for over three months in the Amasiri and Okporojo communities. This decision comes in the wake of a violent boundary dispute that resulted in multiple fatalities earlier this year. The curfew was initially implemented as a security measure to restore peace and order in the affected areas. With the lifting of the curfew, residents are now allowed to resume normal activities, although authorities remain vigilant to prevent any resurgence of violence.
