The Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) has released its latest Situation Report detailing telecommunications activities in the occupied Palestinian territory for April 2026. The report highlights the ongoing rollout of a dual-language connectivity portal at the Gaza City humanitarian hub, which now provides secure connectivity for over 150 responders each month, with plans for further expansion throughout the Gaza Strip. Additionally, the LTC has briefed various coordination platforms on the implementation of Radio Insan, a service designed to deliver verified humanitarian information to local communities. Advocacy efforts are also underway to maintain telecommunications services in Gaza, which include securing limited fuel allocations amidst rising costs and critical shortages of essential supplies.
