The Nigeria Customs Service has outlined its intention to achieve complete automation of documentation and cargo processing by the end of 2026. This initiative aims to improve trade facilitation, enhance transparency, and minimize delays at the country's seaports and border stations. Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs, ACG Mohammed Babandede, shared these details during a recent engagement with stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of modernizing customs operations to better serve the nation's trade environment.
