The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has initiated reforms aimed at enhancing the governance of sports associations within the territory. To this end, a screening mechanism has been established for individuals aspiring to join these associations. The FCT Sports Department has also formed a nine-member committee tasked with the responsibility of vetting and selecting qualified applicants. Officials have indicated that these measures are intended to ensure a more structured and accountable sports administration in the Federal Capital Territory.
