The Nigerian Army has reported that troops engaged in Operation FANSAN YAMMA successfully neutralised two suspected terrorists during a clearance operation in Zamfara State. The operation took place on Monday in the Bagega–Sunke forest corridor, which is recognized as a hideout for criminal elements. In addition to neutralising the suspects, the troops also recovered a cache of weapons as part of their ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in the region. An operational update detailing the mission was released on Tuesday by the Army.
