Minister of Works, David Umahi, has officially signed the nomination form for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid under the All Progressives Congress (APC), referring to it as a "victory form" aimed at sustaining Nigeria's development efforts. In a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Francis Nwaze, Umahi emphasized the importance of continuity and stability in building upon the achievements of the current administration. He highlighted the significance of President Tinubu's infrastructure reforms, particularly in road construction, as vital to the nation's economic growth. The procurement of the APC Expression of Interest and Nomination forms, valued at N100 million, was facilitated by Rep. James Faleke, marking the commencement of Tinubu's campaign for the 2027 presidential election, with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) scheduling the elections for January 16, 2027.
