Hon. Kasimu Maigari, a chieftain of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC), has criticized Peter Obi, the former Labour Party presidential candidate, for allegedly hindering the presidential aspirations of the Igbo people. In an interview with ARISE News, Maigari contended that Obi's political actions have regressed the South-East's quest for the presidency by two decades. He emphasized that the trajectory of Obi's political career has negatively impacted the region's long-standing ambition for leadership at the national level.
