The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has announced its intention to appeal a judgment from the Federal Capital Territory High Court, which mandated the organization to pay ₦100 million in damages to two officials of the Department of State Services (DSS). SERAP has characterized the ruling as “seriously flawed” and is preparing to contest the decision in a higher court. The organization aims to uphold its stance on accountability and transparency in governance through this legal challenge.
