Archaeologists have uncovered a significant prehistoric ritual landscape in Northwest Arabia, revealing massive rectangular stone structures known as ‘mustatils.’ These monuments, dating back approximately 7,000 years to the Late Neolithic period, predate both the Pyramids of Giza and Stonehenge. The recent excavations, supported by funding from the Royal Commission for AlUla, aim to further explore the historical and cultural significance of these ancient structures. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the region's early human activities and societal practices.
