Bandits take over govt school –Plateau LG boss

The Chairman of Barkin-Ladi Local Government Area in Plateau State, Stephen Gyang Pwajok, has reported that suspected Fulani bandits have taken control of a government secondary school that has been closed for the past decade due to ongoing violence in the region. Pwajok indicated that the bandits have not only occupied the school premises but have also displaced the district head of Gwol from his ancestral home. This development highlights the continuing security challenges faced by the local communities in Plateau State.
