JAMB retains 150 cut-off mark for varsities, exempts NCE candidates from UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that the cut-off mark for admission into universities will remain at 150 for the upcoming academic year. Additionally, the board has announced that candidates seeking admission into Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programs will be exempt from the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This decision was made during a meeting with heads of tertiary institutions and other relevant stakeholders, aimed at streamlining the admission process.
